Laguna Cat

The Boat and Equipment:

"Laguna Cat" is a 28 foot Shark Cat. 
 The hull is designed as to make for a very stable platform for fishing around Noosa.

Laguna Cat is in Survey for 10 passengers and 2 crew, however, we take a maximum of 9 passengers. This is to keep things more comfortable, and personable.

Laguna Cat's interior was recently refurbished in Feb 2007, and is clean, practical, and comfortable.

She is a well maintained boat, and the owners and crew take pride in her upkeep.

There is nothing worse than being on the ocean stuck in the elements!   With a rear canopy, covering the whole deck, there is shelter from both the sunshine and rain. 
She is equipped with everything necessary for a quality fishing adventure.

   There is an onboard toilet!

On Board Facilities 

Laguna Cat is equipped with everything necessary for a day out fishing, and more!

We have all the safety gear we need, Life Rafts, Life Jackets, EPIRB, Flares etc. (All the legal requirements).  
Plus, on the fishing side of things, we have GPS,  depth sounder, and a wealth of local knowledge!

The actual fishing gear is as easy as it gets and we are well equipped for even the most novice of fisherperson. We use Alvey reels for the reef fishing (the most simple reel ever invented!). And we generally also have one or two baitrunners rigged up as floaters for any Tuna, Cobia, Mackerel, or other pelagics that may be around at the time. All the fishing gear was updated in February 2007, so is all in top working order. Ther gear is maintained to the highest quality.
