EVENTS NOT TO MISS!

Viridian Verticle: In true fun run style the Viridian Vertical event on August 1 is sure to bring out the best in you!
Starting under the bridge at Viridian Resort & Spa this fun and exciting walk takes you up the stairs to the lookout, down
Viewland Drive, right into Attunga Heights, down the steps behind Picture Point and finishing back at Viridian. Be ready
to put on your creative hats and come up with your best costume. Registration is $20 per person and is open between

Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club: Dine at Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club Thursday 7 August at the Peter Lehmann wine
appreciation dinner and enjoy four courses matched with wines at $75 per person. Bookings for the wine appreciation
dinner are essential on 07 5449 8602. Alternatively drop in for a drink or a meal to take in sensational 180 degree views
of the beautiful Noosa River. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner 7 days per week, breakfast on Sundays with

Maisie’s Seafood & Steakhouse: Steeped in history and famous for hearty helpings, enjoy a cosy winter meal at
Maisie’s Seafood & Steakhouse on Gympie Terrace in Noosaville. Choose from an extensive menu including the house
specialty, Clancy’s Overflow, a superb eye fillet wrapped in bacon, accompanied by 3 oysters Mornay and 3 Kilpatrick in

Peregian Originals: This Sunday 3 August the Peregian Originals are back with 8 Ball Aitken (Brisbane), Swoon
(Mackay), Nadia Sunde Band (NSW), and Ross Nixon (Sunshine Coast). 8 Ball Aitken performs uniquely Far North
Queensland country, blues and roots anthems. Swoon are an acoustic duo based in the Mackay and Whitsunday
regions write and perform a captivation mix of folk, rock and blues. Bring a picnic, a rug and your fellow music lovers to
this free open-air community concert from 1 - 4:30 pm in the park behind Peregian Beach SLSC.

Bold Lounge: DJ Jackson is back and ready to rock the house this Saturday 2 August at this month’s Bold Lounge at
the sensational Flamingo Bar. He is armed with hot-off-the-press remixes of some old favourites like Black Box’s Ride
on time, Armand van Helden’s my, my, my and Richard Greay’s remix of Bob Marley’s No Deputy. Bold Lounge was
created for those 30-somethings looking for somewhere to go out on a monthly basis. Doors open at 8 pm, upstairs at

Book Launch and Author Event: Ride the wave of nostalgia at with Surf-O-Rama, the largest collection of Australian
beach culture, including artefacts, memorabilia, ephemera and photographs. Meet the author Murray Walding,
specialist of pop, surf and beach culture this Friday 1 August 6.30 – 8.30 pm. Tickets to the official launch held at the

Noosa River Ferry Sunset Cruise: Sit back and relax with a drink as you glide amongst the yachts of Woods Bay,
past the fine waterfront homes of Noosa Sound, get up close to the Lake Weyba wildlife before taking in the sunset at
the river entrance. The Sunset Cruise is $19.50 per person departing on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and
